HISTORICAL DREAM VACATION PART 1: ANCIENT HOMES TO EPIC HOTELS AND RESORTS

I was wondering about ancient hotels and resorts just like in the movies we watch. Who wouldn’t be fascinated by such beautiful senescence? These ancient dwellings and ruins are treasures that should be taken care, preserved and get more attention. Allowing people feel it’s timeless beauty and not abandon it is the greatest gift for the next generations to come. We should all be thankful of those who sacrificed their lives to build these dwellings for they are treasures from the past that remind us of how gifted we are as humans at the present and in the future.

3. SIWA, EGYPT

This is one of the ancient hotels with the most antiquated Mediterranean feel. The pool that has two sets of staircases is oddly dreamy. You can tell that it used to be a normal passage for dwellers and now, filled with water. Ancient name Ammonium is historically a part of Ancient Libya its modern name Siwa has stood since the 10th millennia BC. Pictures below are of Adrere Amellal Desert Eco Resort and Siwa Shali Resort.

1. CAPPADOCIA, TURKEY

Taking the number one spot for the most notable among the ancient hotels and resorts is Cappadocia, Turkey. The earliest record of the name of Cappadocia dates from the late 6th century BC, and it is now renowned for its timeless beauty. Featuring Argos Luxury Hotel & Museum Luxury Cave Hotel.  My previous post includes Cappadocia as one of the places I die to visit, if you haven’t seen that post here’s the link VACATION PARADISE: HOTELS AND RESORTS I DIE TO VISIT

I find these amazing. I could almost imagine myself living in the time when these architectural wonders were constructed. Creepy because I would also be thinking of the people of those era, all dead already. No matter, the stunning architecture and magnificent views plus all those history promises an experience of the lifetime.
